Iain Johnston

Director and Owner

Prior to owning a wholesale business, Iain had a corporate career in finance and held many senior positions. These included being the General Manager of Finance for the Retail Division of Frasers Property Australia and a Finance Director for Elanor Investors Group, a fund managing hotels and tourism assets. During these roles, Iain was responsible for rolling out new operating and accounting systems. He has subsequently utilised this experience to improve the operational efficiency of the Country Pak business by implementing a new customer ordering platform called Tomsoft. Iain is the CEO of Country Pak and is responsible for its financial and strategic direction. He is passionate about the business and its customers and is motivated to deliver the most efficient service offering possible.

Prior to owning a wholesale business, Michelle had 25 years of experience in Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking and finance related industries, predominantly running large teams and regions for Westpac Bank. Michelle combines the skills she employed in assessing businesses for the purposes of lending money, with the skills required to manage large teams, to steer Country Pak into its next phase of growth. Michelle is passionate about customer service and ensuring that the business really does go that extra country mile to delight customers.

David Brown | Country Pak

David Brown

Warehouse Supervisor

With 20 years of experience in the retail and warehouse industry, David is a dedicated, enthusiastic, and resilient professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Prior to being with Country Pak, David held various positions, most recently serving as a department supervisor in the Goods Inwards department at Bunnings Warehouse, Halls Head. David’s expertise spans inventory management, stock control, team leadership, and customer service. He also takes on additional responsibilities such as forklift coach, training new team members, and safety representative. David always keeps a cool head and supervises the warehouse to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

Fabian was introduced and commenced work for Country Pak in 2012 as a transport contractor. He serviced the Country Pak business up until 2018, at which point he sold his own business. He accepted his current role with Country Pak a week later and has enjoyed both the changes & growth in the business ever since. Fabian has held various management roles over his career in Food Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Camp Site Management. Fabian has an Advanced Diploma of Business Management. He loves his sport and has been heavily involved in Australian Rules Football at amateur, state and AFL level while being a very keen Collingwood supporter. Married with two children Fabian is fortunate that through work and football he and his wife Eve have resided in many towns throughout Western Australia.

Vicki De Vita | Country Pak

Vicki De Vita

Senior Office Administrator

Vicki has been with Country Pak since 2022 and currently runs our office. If you are a current customer of Country Pak, you will know that Vicki is always smiling and ready to help. Vicki is responsible for assisting with customer ordering & order checking, picking slips, customer invoicing and enquiries as well as general office management. Previously, Vicki worked in the building industry for over 20 years. Vicki sold her property in Toodyay a few years ago and moved to the South Metro area of Perth. Vicki is passionate about helping and assisting our customers.

As our Buying and Pricing manager, Phil is responsible for the markets buying function on all back of warehouse inventory items. He manages our supplier relationships in Perth Markets and has a nose for finding the finest quality fresh produce available. Phil has been with Country Pak for over 14 years and has held various positions including Sales Manager and Office Manager during this time. Phil’s combines his deep knowledge of our customers to source the best quality fruit and vegetables that can travel well to their destination for maximum shelf life. Prior to Country Pak, Phil worked as a Manager in the auto consumables industry overseeing operations in Australia, Hong Kong and New Zealand.

Theresa Barker

Pre-Pack Manager

With over 30 years of experience in the fruit and vegetable industry spanning both wholesale and retail, Theresa runs our Pre-Pack Department. Her team of 6 dedicated staff work their magic producing over 800 pre-packed items every week. These include fruit trays, vegetable trays, salad trays, stew packs and various other beautifully displayed trays of goodness which are specially packaged to travel all over state. Theresa and her team are especially busy around Christmas time producing beautifully packaged gifts for our customers

James has been with Country Pak for over 20 years and is responsible for our front warehouse functions including receipting of inventory, supplier relationships and managing the front of warehouse team. In addition to this, James also does the buying for the hard-line items such as potatoes, carrots, onions, which also involves the supply side invoicing. James has a team of 3 dedicated staff who are all passionate about ensuring orders are ready for transport pick-up so that our customers get their orders delivered on time.
