About the Owners
Hi there,
Our names are Iain and Michelle Johnston and we made the decision to move our family from NSW to WA (Michelle’s hometown) back in 2021. We then embarked on our dream of owning and operating our own business. Something we had never done before! We purchased Country Pak Wholesalers, a fruit and vegetable wholesale business operating out of Perth markets in Canning Vale, in April 2022. What a journey it has been. We are proud to say that an accountant and a banker, working as a husband and a wife team, can work amicably together and even have complimentary skill sets!
Since owning Country Pak, we have introduced a new operating system, improved our customer experience with a new mobile app and cloud based on-line ordering system, introduced an auto-bot program that automates our daily buying sheets for the markets, and had an absolute ball doing it all. Our business is now moving forward with a solid foundation supporting it. We have approximately 25 staff and we are pleased to say most have stayed on, post the ownership change – we couldn’t have done it without these amazing employees!
